CANDLE INGREDIENTS & SAFE USAGE GUIDELINES:

INGREDIENTS:

Our candle wax is a proprietary blend of coconut and soy wax, phthalate free fragrance oil, essential oil or a blend of both.

Our wicks are made of COTTON. They are lead and zinc FREE!

WARNING!

  • Candles are combustible!
  • Glass can explode if you burn your candle lower than 1/2″ from the bottom, or if your jar is chipped or cracked.
  • Never use a damaged candle and dispose of the COLD candle when 1/2″ of wax remains or if black soot is coming from the wick. (On first burn your wick may give off black soot for a few seconds, which is normal. It is abnormal if your candle is well used and almost used up.)
  • NEVER INDUCE VOMITING OF AN OIL BASED PRODUCT IF INGESTED BY HUMANS OR PETS. Give milk or water and call poison control hotline. 1-800-222-1222.
  • ALLERGY WARNING! Our products are made in homes with cats and dogs. Our wax contains soy.

SAFE CANDLE USAGE GUIDELINES:

  • Prior to each burn, trim wick to 1/4″
  • On first burn you must let the candle burn until the wax pool reaches the edges of the jar. If you extinguish before it does the candle will burn down instead of across forever. The edges will never melt.
  • Dispose of COLD candle when only 1/2″ of wax remains or damaged.
  • Only burn your candle on a hard, stable surface free from vibrations.
  • Never burn a candle near curtains or other soft materials.
  • Never burn a candle near a draft or open window.
  • Never leave a burning candle unattended!
  • Burn candle within your line of sight.
  • Keep your candle away from areas that pets and small children can reach.
  • Some essential oils are dangerous to have in pet homes. They can irritate their respiratory system when breathed in or affect their kidneys if ingested. If you have pets, we highly recommend that you choose wax melts instead of burning candles. Combustion sends oil particles airborne which can land on your pet’s fur and lead to accidental ingestion toxicity. If your pet shows signs of irritation discontinue use of your candle and ventilate your home by opening windows. Consult your veterinarian with any concerns. You can find a list of scent oils to avoid in pet homes here.
  • Do not ingest our wax or oil products. If ingested give a glass of milk or water and call the poison control hotline. Indiana residents 1-800-222-1222. Never induce vomiting of oil based products unless under direct medical supervision in a medical facility.
